Hello my lovelies! I hope life is treating you beautifully. I know for me, things have been tough lately, however I manage to get by with a little help from my wardrobe, and a mini weekend vacation as well. 😉
Having “power outfits“ can make all the difference in your closet. My outfit featured in this post happens to be one of mine. I threw the combination together last second, and found it to work wonderfully! I pieced together a vintage 1980’s pink oxford Da-Rue blouse that I stumbled across during my vintage finds. 👚 I paired it with my green Adrianna Papell capris, my new favorite penny loafers from Chinese Laundry, and a vintage round lens styled sunglasses I picked up from target. 👓 To tie the look together, I paired my favorite handbag (shaped like an ice cream cone 😍) and slung it over my shoulder for a cute finishing touch!🍧
Anyway, my blog is about to take a new color direction! ↗ I’m transitioning to a different aesthetic. Why? Well, I recently dyed my hair back to my go-to color combos. I went orange for a while, and I while a carrot top I realized that only some of my wardrobe worked well with my hair. 🤷 Also, being the Autumn and Winter seasons, I was dressing a lot in warmer colors. Most of my wardrobe I feel lies between pinks and blues. It’s no coincidence my hair is usually the same, whatever way I decide to dye it! 😆
Pastel colors are currently IN right now, so I was excited to get some of my pastel on while I was away on my trip this weekend. 🌷 What do you all think? What are your thoughts on blending vintage finds with current brands and trends? I’d love to know!
