Pixi Beauty Glow Review
Hello again to my lovely readers! Today I wanted to discuss a recent campaign that Pixi Beauty has been promoting based on a relatively new line of products they launched. Pixi was quite generous and sent me a surprise package in the mail! I wanted to try out all of the products first before writing my review of them, so I took the time to test each one to see how I felt. I’ve been experiencing skin troubles for quite a while now due to my endometriosis, so I was excited to try something new in my routine.

Product Line
The #skintreats product line extends far beyond the ones that I have tried. They have everything ranging from skin toners, facial serums, vitamin c lotions, and cleansing cloths, to name a few.
My review is based on the following products:
*Although I have heard wonderful things, I have not yet tried the GLOW Glycolic Boost Sheet Mask yet and thus I will not review it at this moment. As for the face cloth, all I can say is it is cute and soft and little. I like it a lot. 😊
T-Zone Peel-Off Mask
The T-Zone Peel-Off Mask happened to be the first peel-off mask that I have ever tried! It’s one of those silly things I had on my bucket list that seems so basic yet I had never used one before. Needless to say, I was happy to check it off my list purely for the sake of trying it.
✅ Who this is for ✅
If you love a luxurious feeling product, then this mask is right up your alley. I really loved the smooth and silky texture of this product and it has an amazing scent as well! My pores felt tighter after using this and the mask peeled off some of my dreaded blackheads, which is a huge skincare concern of mine. My skin also felt really soft after using this product too!
❌ Who this is not for ❌
As for skin-purifying results, I did notice a slight difference in my skin, but it wasn’t drastic. This mask absolutely needs to be applied in a thick layer; if it’s too thin, there won’t be enough product to grab onto any impurities and pull them out. If you’re looking for a cure-all blackhead extracting mask, this isn’t the product for you. I’d say it’s most suitable for people with minor skin concerns. If you have a lot of pesky blackheads, you’ll want to go with something more powerful for your t-zone. Despite its subtle results, it happens to be one of my favorites that I tried.

Glow Mud Mask
The Glow Mud Mask happens to be the second mud mask I have ever tried, with the previous from another cool mask that I recently tested out.
✅ Who this is for ✅
There wasn’t a whole lot to not like about this product. I’m not awfully fussy when it comes to clay-type masks, and this one came as no exception. A little goes a long way and it’s very easy to smooth over your face. I applied it with the tip of a finger and then left in on for 15 minutes as instructed before washing it off. It washed off very easily and with little mess. My skin felt tighter with this product as well and it gets the job done.
❌ Who this is not for ❌
I wouldn’t say that this mask is drying, but I would say my skin was drier than it was beforehand. I find this to be the case with most clay masks so it didn’t come as a surprise to me. I can’t quite say who this isn’t really for because let’s face it, it’s a mud mask. There’s not a whole lot to go wrong here, so I think most people would be satisfied with the purifying results that it gives.

Peel & Polish Exfoliator
The Peel & Polish is a product that I thought could be pretty handy. I’m often on the hunt for a good exfoliator so this was a nice #skintreat to test out for myself.
✅ Who this is for ✅
This is a “resurfacing concentrate” exfoliator, meaning that it will lift away the dead skin cells, and help reveal a more radiant and healthy complexion. This is a gentle exfoliant that won’t hurt your skin. In fact, the exfoliating beads almost melt into your skin as you massage it on your face. Interestingly, it does seem to have a “polish” type of finish once you rinse it off. I really enjoyed this product and had no issues with it.
❌ Who this is not for ❌
So unlike the title, this actually isn’t a “peel” kind of product that you may expect. As mentioned, it’s a rinse off. It’s not something that should necessarily deter you, but it’s good to know that the title is merely describing the peel-away effects of removing dead skin cells. Some people may not be a huge fan of the scent though. It’s not strong but has a scent that could be confused with a faint smell of paint. I think that this is just the fruit enzymes within it though and not a cause for alarm.
DetoxifEYE Depuffing Eye Patches
The Pixi Beauty DetoxifEYE was actually my favorite in terms of having fun with my skincare routine! It was definitely a totally new type of product for me and I had never tried anything like it.
✅ Who this is for ✅
If you tend to get puffy under-eyes, this product will be a holy grail for you. I don’t naturally have puffy eyes, but I’ll be the first to admit I’m a bit of a crier. For me, these patches are perfect for the morning after. For some reason, I must cry more at night (?) so when I wake up the next day, my eyes might look like a pufferfish. It always seems super obvious to me, so these calming patches are a nice pick-me-up. I don’t have a makeup fridge, but I think these would be AMAZING and work even better if they were slightly chilled before use! Plenty of gel will be leftover once you remove the product, so I take the rest and massage it into my skin.
❌ Who this is not for ❌
Okay, so although I like this product for a lot of reasons, it’s really not for everyone. If you don’t like slimy textures, steer clear from this at all costs. If those types of textures freak you out, you won’t be too happy when using these patches. There is a lot of liquid/gel in these patches too, and they are slippery – so it doesn’t take much for them to slide down your face. You would most likely need to lay your head back to avoid that issue. Also, because there’s so much product leftover on your skin, you may not really like massaging in the leftover gel.
Pixi Beauty Verdict
So that was a pretty long review, and I’m a bit winded from it. To make a long story end, the verdict is a positive one! I thoroughly enjoyed all of these products in the Pixi Beauty Skintreats Collection. Although the T-Zone Mask fell slightly short, I still really loved the product itself and I will continue to use it. I found all of these products to be extremely high quality as well. I have been wanting to try Pixi for years now and I’m so thrilled I finally had an opportunity to do so. I want to give a HUGE thank you to Pixi Beauty for all of the love and this amazing surprise in my mailbox. I’m so grateful! Thank you as well to all of my readers for checking out my latest blog post! I hope you were able to take away a few pros and cons that will help you make some judgments for yourself!

May 22, 2019Pixi has really been stepping up their game lately! Sounds like some of these products would be great for me (like the depuffing eye patches) and some I should probably steer clear from (like the mud mask because I have dry skin).
Mind Over Mango
May 22, 2019Yes, I feel like they’ve upped their game recently! I’m glad that my pros and cons were helpful for you though to know which products are best! I’d avoid the mud mask like you said because it would be too drying, especially if you already have dry skin!

May 23, 2019I love the glycolic masks the most. The eye masks were TERRIBLE for me. Literally would not hold in place at all and falling down my face.
