Petit Vour
The monthly subscription-based beauty box craze has been spreading like wildfire, and for good reason too. What beauty lover wouldn’t want a low-cost box filled with high-end beauty products arriving straight to their doorstep once a month? It gives us the opportunity to try new products we may not have ever discovered, often in full-sizes too. Petit Vour is not your average monthly subscription box though. They are in fact the #1 vegan, non-toxic, and cruelty-free subscription box on the market.
Disclaimer:
🌱 What is Petit Vour? 🌱
Petit Vour is based around the principle that beauty (and fashion) shouldn’t hurt. They hold themselves to high standards with four pillars that represent who they are: top-shelf performance, ingredient integrity, ethical manufacturing, and exceptional aesthetic. All of the products that they sell are 100% vegan, not tested on animals, and are produced only where companies can prove they have a fair trade working environment. They also have a long list of ingredients that you will never find in any of the products they sell. Transparency is vital to upholding their high standards, and their platforms certainly show it.
For as low as $15 a month, you will receive 4 plant-based, non-toxic and cruelty-free beauty goodies right to your doorstep. You can also receive $4 worth of store credit every month for reviewing your current Beauty Box. Each box contains at least $50 worth of goods inside! To see the total value and savings of this box, check the image descriptions below.

Smudge-Proof Anti-Aging Eye Shadow Base by Terre Mere – $36: This product was the most expensive item in the Beauty Box. For a $36 value, I was really shocked but very excited. As a Beauty Consultant, it’s mandatory that I wear makeup every day to work. I’ve used this eye shadow base several times now, with my shifts lasting anywhere from 5 to 9 hours. So far, I have not experienced any creasing! I’ve been pretty basic and light on the eyeshadow, so I haven’t focused so much on a wear test just yet, but I’ll be sure to update with my results soon on that note.

After Hours Soothing Night Cream by Kalos – $11: I recently added this to my skincare regimen and it’s been wonderful to my skin. I love that it came in a compact size, yet I find there’s enough to get me through the month. For over a year now I’ve been having this strange issue every night where my face gets red and hot. The cause is still unknown. (Side note: if anyone experiences this too, please let me know! I really am struggling with it and I haven’t uncovered the root cause yet). This soothing mask has a light, cool touch to the skin and minimizes my redness and blotchiness, and also eases the slight “discomfort” of a warm face.

Lait De Rose Vitamin C Polishing Wash by French Girl – $15: For the price of this product alone, it covers the cost of the entire box. This is a very interesting product. Basically, it’s a powder that activates with water. Tap the amount you need into a lid or small bowl, add water, then apply. It will leave your skin supple and soft to the touch. When I first saw this, I was a little iffy if I would like it because it starts in a powder form. I’m thinking that the powder form serves multiple purposes, one of them possibly being that it has a longer shelf life, which would help you get the most out of the product!

Bright & Easy 3-Minute Flash Mask by Ursa Major – $6: I wish I could have brought this with me on my recent trip while visiting the Azores for the first time. Its cute and compact size is perfect for travel and would have given me plenty to work with while I was away. I’ve mentioned before on my blog that my Endometriosis causes me to have breakouts from hormonal imbalances, so I was able to test out this mask during a recent acne attack and see the results. This little baby helped clear up my acne while brightening and tightening my skin. (P.S. blog articles about my trip are coming up next!)

Antonym Waterproof Eye Pencil – $19: This eyeliner pencil was an added bonus in my box. There’s not a whole lot to say except that it is really creamy and slides easily across the skin, so it will be gentle to use on your eyes without tugging. There is also a concealed sharpener on the opposite side of the pencil too, which was a great added bonus!

👩⚖️ The Verdict 👩⚖️
Would I continue using this subscription-based Beauty Box in the future? YES – one thousand times yes! There are very few instances on my website where I don’t include a “who this is not for” section in my reviews. The Petit Vour July 2019 Beauty Box comes as one of those rare exceptions. I did not experience any “cons” or issues I felt would be a significant deal-breaker. That being said…
✅ Who This Is For ✅
This Beauty Box can and should be for everyone interested in a monthly beauty subscription. I honestly believe that more people should make a full transition to Petit Vour. Your purchases from this company help encourage and support other animal-friendly businesses who are trying to grow and spread the word about going vegan in your beauty routine. If you are interested in going cruelty-free, are already cruelty-free, or are currently purchasing monthly boxes from other companies, there’s no reason you shouldn’t consider ditching those and moving toward a safer, healthier, and more sustainable alternative.
📝 Final Notes 📝
Make sure to check out my IGTV and Instagram post to see a full unboxing. Thank you so very much to Petit Vour for such incredible service and generosity, not just to me, but also to our animals and our planet too! I know that many of us are appreciative of your commitment to servicing the welfare of animals. With your help, we are one (or two, or one hundred) steps closer to banning animal testing and introducing the world to a full cruelty-free beauty (and fashion) regimen. Thank you again for such a great partnership. Now please excuse me while I go and order my new Petit Vour subscription…
xoxo Sara

August 1, 2019Thank you, Carolyn! Yes, this is my first time so I’m new to it too. I’ve wanted one for so long and this one is literally perfect for me!

July 31, 2019Sounds like an amazing beauty box that I would love to try. Now if only they made one with vegan snacks, I’d love that too!
Mind Over Mango
August 1, 2019Hey, Taylor! I think a vegan snack box actually does exist! I’m not sure what company it is, but I’ve heard about one before. There are only a few vegan subscription boxes and I know Petit Vour is the top box for beauty. Maybe you should look up a snack one too!

August 1, 2019I’m obsessed with makeup subscriptions! I love the element of surprise. Plus I believe that I save a lot of money that way. Buying the products separately is more expensive. I really like the idea of a vegan beauty box. Definitely need to subscribe!
Mind Over Mango
August 1, 2019The element of surprise is the best part! I’m not awfully picky either, so I’m always open to a variety of products. I agree that you save a lot! This box saves $72 which is a great deal. Check out Petit Vour on their website to see more! You can view their previous boxes as well.

Mind Over Mango
August 1, 2019Same, Kileen! I’m happy that the industry as a whole is starting to move toward cruelty-free and vegan products. Petit Vour is such a great option to try! You can buy a monthly box for $18 or buy a subscription and save more money (which would break down to $15 a month)!
Stephanie
August 1, 2019Of course, as a blogger, I’ve heard about a million different subscription boxes – but this is the first time I’ve heard of this one, and now I’m fascinated! I love that they’re cruelty free and plant-based. So many great products to test out for such an awesome price. The Ursa Major mask definitely stood out to me the most!
Mind Over Mango
August 1, 2019Hey, Stephanie! Yes, they started popping up everywhere. Petit Vour has been around since 2013 and I’m really glad that they have had so much success. I’ve seen a few try to launch and then they just flop. There’s a lot of great options and you can buy the full sizes or repurchase the same products from their website once you run out! The Ursa Mask is awesome too.

August 1, 2019Wait you’ve got to be kidding me! Only 15?! I am hands down going to try this box!
Mind Over Mango
August 1, 2019Yes, I know! The prices are very low and the quality goes well beyond it in my opinion. If you buy Petit Vour individually, it comes out to $18 a box, which I think is still a great price and less than other beauty boxes too. So if you want to save even more than you can buy the subscription for $180 for a full year of 12 boxes, which breaks down to $15 a month!
