Hello my lovelies! Today’s post is brought to you by my love for vintage clothing. 😆 I absolutely couldn’t WAIT to shoot this outfit for one of my #OOTD posts. Hands down it is my favorite clothing combo to date in my entire wardrobe. Cassio thought I looked very much like a “Librarian” wearing it, and honestly since I’m obsessed with reading, I can’t complain! 📚 It looks like vintage pink Victorian ruffles is definitely my thing!
I’ve been really obsessed with vintage for a long while. I love purchasing second hand through Etsy, as well as my local thrift stores too. However, I also love modern-day brands that are bringing back dated trends and giving them new life. Below, you will find some comparable pieces that you can snag for yourself, and that are readily available for any fashionista who has access to the interwebs. Here, I am wearing my Etsy vintage Victorian blouse and a mint green pencil skirt to match!
I discovered this vintage blouse by the brand Chaus. The ruffles run from the neck to halfway down the front of the blouse, with the sleeve ends mimicking the same flirty effect. The mint green pencil skirt I am wearing is by the brand Alfred Dunner, which I found from a new shop on Etsy called Lue22. It came with the matching faux leather and gold buckled belt, and was in perfect condition. As a matter of fact, both the blouse and the skirt looked as if they had never been worn! Both are also from the 1980’s, and honestly it blows my mind that these pieces have lasted 30 to 40 years, seemingly untouched! Amazing! 😍😍😍
My nude colored shoes here are by the brand Bandolino, and are my most comfortable pair of heels. You’ll see them a lot on this blog honestly. That, along with my Bebe handbag as well. Both are go-to items for me and I really can’t wear them enough! #sorrynotsorry 👡 👜
Thank you to my followers for your continued support and checking out this blog article! Talk to you soon!
